The President-Elect of Nigeria Bola Tinubu Promised to Work Tirelessly for the Country Development

The President-elect of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, has said that he is aware that many Nigerians are disappointed that their preferred candidate is not standing where he is as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.

He said this during his speech after receiving the Certificate of Return at the International Conference Centre in Abuja on Wednesday.

The President-elect promised to work tirelessly for the country’s development.

He said, “To you the people, especially the youths, I will work day and night. I will work to the utmost best of my ability to make Nigeria better.

“For this to be a victory at home, It cannot simply be a victory for one man or even one party, it must become a victory for all Nigerians who are committed to a greater society.

“I know many did not vote for me and you are disappointed that your candidate did not stand where I am now.”
