Real Madrid and Manchester City played a really exciting game in the Champions League. Vinicius Junior scored a goal for Real Madrid in the first half, but then Kevin De Bruyne scored an amazing goal for Manchester City in the second half to tie the game 1-1.
Even though Manchester City had the ball more in the first half, Real Madrid was winning. But Manchester City didn’t give up and kept trying until they finally scored.
Some people are talking about whether the ball went out of bounds before De Bruyne’s goal, and others are talking about how Real Madrid did a good job of stopping Haaland from scoring.
There are lots of things to talk about from this game, and we’ll have to wait and see what happens in the next one!
Carlo Ancelotti was really mad at the fourth official when Kevin De Bruyne scored a goal to tie the game. Ancelotti thought the ball went out of bounds before Bernardo Silva passed it to De Bruyne. Ancelotti complained so much that he got a yellow card.
Arsene Wenger, who used to be a coach and now works for FIFA, said that the people who check if goals are good or not should have looked to see if the ball went out of bounds.
He thinks they didn’t check because they can only check if the ball crossed the goal line, not the sideline.
If any team has to play at the Etihad Stadium, they better watch out! Manchester City has been doing really well at home since the World Cup.
Kevin De Bruyne is a really good player on the team and he’s scored 39 goals from far away since 2015. That’s almost as many as Lionel Messi, who is one of the best players in the world. Messi has scored 72 goals from far away, which is crazy! He’s basically a superhero.
